Oh! I tremble with delight! I found a wonderful place that I now dream of visiting. This place is Nagashima Spa Land. I just love rides, beautiful locations and cotton candy. I'm not so young, but that doesn't stop me! It is written "be like children" and I follow these words. This is my motto! To rejoice and be delighted with insignificant trifles, beautiful views, speed, nature. It is also important that in these moments of joy my friends were with me. I wish that everyone (including me!) dreams come true to go where he wants!

I would like to visit Baily lighthouse in Dublin, Ireland. Soon I'm traveling to Ireland actually, but I'm not sure yet if I have time to visit the lighthouse, hope so! :)

I honestly discovered this project from the postcard book I started to see around on social media and that's simply great!
I realized that there are 14 spots in Milan (including the metro!), so I'll start from the Duomo (my boyfriend is visiting the city for the first time this weekend and we can't miss it!).
Weird that I like all this simmetry, since I'm the queen of mismatched earrings/sleeves/socks, but it's fascinating!

It's a great website! I would like to go to Milan, Italy. I really want to see how amazing the architecture is!

I have always dreamed of visiting Iceland and from those on the map, I really love Grafarkirkja in Hofsós. The story behind it is cool and the church looks amazing all alone in a stunning landscape. Thank you for the giveaway.

I'd love to visit the Boone County Jail! It's not too far from where I live, and the bright blue door caught my eye. Just a few days ago I was walking around my friend's neighborhood and commented on a house of a similar color.

Oh, what a great giveaway! I browsed the map and found that I would love to visit the Mercado de Colon in Valencia, Spain. I've been to Valencia before and liked it, so I would love to visit there again and see this special location.

I’ve been to two of the ones in Alaska. Will definitely keep my eye out for more now! I will definitely visit the ones in Seattle next time I’m there!

Regret not knowing the project earlier and passed quite a few locations during my earlier travels! For now I'd definitely like to explore the locations in Bangkok (like the one in Wat Mangkorn) again with the guide of the map!

I've wanted to visit Turkey for a while now, but after seeing pictures of Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, it became a longing. This is such a fun way of looking at traveling and even the place I already live in.

What a lovely project! Wes Anderson movies are on the top of my list, makes me happy to learn about the merge of my love for cinema, photography and postcards in one place! Will be sure to look around and find something to send them, since there are no postcards from my city, Curitiba in Brazil. Exploring the map I found many beautiful planes, but one that made me the most surprised was one in Antarctica! It looks like right out of the Grand Budapest Hotel movie! I don't think I will be able to go there anytime soon, haha, but it's lovely!

What a fun project!

I would love to visit the Spring Hill Baths in Brisbane, Australia. Even though AU is the place to go to be killed by wildlife, visiting nearby (comparitively) Great Barrier Reef is on my list of things to do before I die, so I can knock two fun things off of my bucket list!

I was so surprised and happy to see one of my favorite places on this map- Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in Hatteras, NC. Love it!

One of my favourite places to visit is not far from my home, Angouleme in the Charente region of France. The map has some beautiful views of this city. Wes Anderson filmed his recent film The French Dispatch here. It caused a lot of local excitment as he filmed in the streets of Angouleme.

I think the GIFU PREFECTURE, JAPAN, Yoro Railway looks so dreamy. Very similar to a Studio Ghibli Movie and I think that'd be really pretty to visit.

Ashton Villa in Galveston is among several older homes that have survived major hurricanes and we've enjoyed seeing it. However, I would like to see even more sites on the Texas map to visit which are a little closer to home.

Hoping to visit friends in Michigan, one day, I was intrigued by a restaurant called The Woods on Mackinac Island that has Duckpin bowling included in the experience. There are so many places I have seen and hope to see -- hard to choose.

I love Wes Anderson and Accidentally Wes Anderson!! I think I’d love to visit SVALBARD AND JAN MAYEN, NORWAY and Pyramiden. I’ve been wanting to go here forever. Accessible only by sea or snowmobile this former Russian coal-mining village located on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard is now a ghost town.

What an awesome project. There's many places, I'd love to travel to, but most definitely the Shetland Shelter. That is brilliant and right up to my street. Hubby would also enjoy this project. He is into Wes Anderson movies even more than I and a keen photographer.

What a neat idea. It's exciting to discover an AWA in my fair city of Albuquerque, New Mexico--my older son and I have been to the KIMO theatre and now I will always think of it this way.

I would like to meet Paulo in Portugal.Csn not thank enough the PC team who have. Made lives of ordinary people like me meaningsful.

It's so hard to choose just one! I'm going with Orvieto Cathedral, in Umbria, Italy. Many of my ancestors came from Umbria, and the region is gorgeous! But I have never been to the town of Orvieto. I would love to explore the cathedral and see all of the art there.

I would want to visit the Christinehof Castle in Sweden.
I have two reasons why. The obvious one being that I simply love castles. My mother is from the Loire Valley area in France and I always dreamed of living in one of those magnificent buildings whilst visiting my family over there as a child. Although, whom am I kidding? Truth be told, it's still my dream. :)
The second reason is my love for Sweden. I have a degree in Scandinavian studies and spent my final year in Lund, Scania, Sweden. It was an amazing experience and I loved my stay there so much that I had not planned on ever returning to The Netherlands. However, things went south in several areas of my personal life and I could not stay there. It has always left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth and I haven't visited Scandinavia ever since. That means I haven't been back since 2013.
I would love to go again sometime and visiting this beautiful castle would be a safe way as it connects a love I've never lost with one with which I would love to rekindle.

I have adored castles since childhood, when I watched cartoons about princesses. Because of this, I dream of visiting Germany and seeing the works of architecture live. I also really want to visit St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad (Zelenogradsk is the city of cats or the "purring city") in Russia. And in summer, summer Paris is a must, with its streets, flowers and pastries!!
I wish everyone good health and a speedy visit to their desired places.

This is so fun! My husband visited Iceland 2 years ago and I want to go as well! I found a spot on the AWA map in Hofsos, Iceland that has the country's oldest turf church. That looked very interesting and I also found turf houses that would be neat to see. What a cool project!

OMG! WHAT a great idea! I got so excited, I need to get my camera out and see if I can find something in this 3000 horse town I live in (in WY) and sniff out a Wes-esque view. Very fun! I'd love to visit Provo Library in Utah, the United States just for its book club background story. The fact that there was a gentleman building libraries across the country warms my heart.

I'm glad to see a few spots here in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and I'm happy to report that the 9 O'Clock Gun in Stanley Park still goes off every day. I would love to visit several sites in Providence, Rhode Island, where one of my children now lives: the RISD Nature Lab, the Athenaeum, the Providence Public Library, and the Graduate Hotel.

Thank you for sharing! It is such a great project! It is fun to discover all the selected places in my own country and discover them with a new eye. Now I want to go to so many places!!! To pick just one was not easy, but I would love to travel to Margate (UK) to the Walpole Bay Hotel :-)

AWA -what a great site - I have sent a postcard of the magnificent staircase of 1892 Bishops Palace in Galveston. The postcards are so inspiring and also make you a little wistful as you realise you are not rich and will not be visiting all these places. Thank you postcrossing for bringing it to our attention

1) Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, Portugal - look at photos of the pink tea room
2) Chapel of the Lord of Stone, Porto, Portugal - a hexagonal church on the beach
3) Mexico City's Gran Hotel has an all Tiffany glass ceiling - perhaps the most stunning interior anywhere, Mexico City - just visited this place
4) In front of Diego Rivera's "Dream of a Sunday afternoon in the Alameda" housed in the Museo Mural Diego Rivera - a mural with power and in which a film character could compete if dressed appropriately
5) The McHive of Sweden - got to see this miniature to believe it - bees only

Royale Palace Muscat, Oman - one of the ugliest buildings ever. So ugly that I like it!! Sultan Qaboos does not live there, wrong info on the webpage, he moved to Eternity.

Once being there travel the country and take a ferry to Khasab. Sent out postcards every day.

I'll do one better and mention the three South African locations listed, which are beautiful spots beyond measure, and are all spots I have visited :-)

Just discovered this. It would be such a delight to visit SVALBARD AND JAN MAYEN, in NORWAY. Reasons bring: it's accessible only by sea, it's a former Russian coal-mining village located on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, and is now a ghost town! Spooky and ecstatic!

Christinehof Castle in Sweden because I didn't even realize there were castles in Sweden - Castles that I know off have been Germany, France, Spain, Italy and is definitely different from Hearst Castle here in USA.

I would like to go to northern Spain and see the fabulous castles and cute towns of yester years. I wouldn't mind going to central italy - again and see the old majestic towns.

I will be in Bilbao next summer and hope to see the train station. I love the architecture of old train stations!

I've always wanted to visit this part of Spain and this was modeled after the Alhambra which has always been on the top of my travel wish list. Stunning architecture and rich history, this region just seems mystical and other worldly.

I absolutely adore Wes Anderson's movies, they are always so whimsical, quirky, and comforting. I think I've watched all of his creations. A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon the AWA page on Instagram and absolutely loved the idea. I would love to visit Warsaw University of Technology, the photo on the site looks fantastic. Joliot-Curie Station in Sofia, Bulgaria looks stylish.

I'm a big fan of Accidentally Wes Anderson, and I would love to visit the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland. I've traced my ancestry back to Scotland and would love to learn more about its history and people, both past and present.

I would love to visit the Bunthäuser Spitze Light. I live in the town of this small light tower and have heard a lot of good things about this area on the banks of the Elbe. I have even painted the lighthouse once for an art project, but unfortunately never seen in reality....

I yearn to go to Italy. I love the elegance of Rome, the culture that spills out of every old window, out of every old brick, out of every carving, out of every bunch of old vines. And I was recently reading a book by the Chinese writer Yu Qiuyu, in which he marveled at Rome: "Every Harmony makes time and space look at each other in peace." I also like other parts of Italy, they seem to have a lot of magic. It always reminds me of the blue sky, the white doves in the square, the free plants and the relaxed people. I think this kind of naturalness and ease is what I pursue.

I love Wes Anderson and I’d love to send these postcards (and keep some for myself). Since I’m a big fan of Sweden for travelling I would like to visit The Garden Society of Gothenburg. It looks so beautiful.
