About Julia...
Hello!
I'm a retired accountant and lived near St. Louis, Missouri until March 2021, when my husband and I started living in a travel trailer full time to travel the USA. Besides the US, we had 3 month visit to the UK, Germany, Italy and Greece in 2022 as well as time in both Portugal and Mexico in 2023. I also like hiking in nature, bicycle riding, reading, embroidery and cross stitch, scrapbooking and paper crafts, and blogging about traveling.
Please be patient with me if your postcard is not received as quickly as usual. My address is only a mail forwarding address, so it may take some extra days to reach me.
Any card you send will be appreciated by me, because I am on Postcrossing to meet you, wherever you live.
The favorites on my wall are all cards that I have received so you can look there.
Here are some additional suggestions, but I always like surprises!
--Christmas and Chinese New Year 2024 Year of the Dragon
-- Places in your country: city or countryside, or pictures of your people. Postcards can be new, old, or vintage, art or photos. Especially this, if you come from a country that doesn't have many Postcrossers.
--UNESCO world heritage sites
--National or Regional Parks
--Half-timbered medieval buildings from your country
--Maximums (Maxicards)
--Postcrossing meetups
--The Postcrossing World Postcard Day card 2023
If you don't have these, then maybe:
--People hiking (wandering, walking)
--People (or animals!!) reading books or embroidering in interesting places
**More unusual, but just in case you have them--I have learned about most of these through Postcrossing--
--Chinatsu Okada cat postcards- I have Matsushima and Lanyu already
--Traveling cat (Tabi Neko) series by Toshinori Mori, I have "July" cat
jumping on boat already
--from Finland - Minna Immonen, I have Bike Tour and Sheltering under
an Umbrella -- or art like this
-- Pettson and Findus by Sven Nordqvist
--Ancient world maps
--Vintage or new travel trailers or caravans in beautiful or interesting places
--Japanese etegami
You can send a handmade card if you make them! If you draw, you are most welcome to draw on my card. What are you reading or making right now?. Where are your travels taking you?
Thank you for reading!
