About Julia...

I lived near St. Louis, Missouri until March 2021, when my husband and I started living in a travel trailer full time to travel the USA. I am a retired accountant. I visit Denver, Colorado and Austin, Texas often because that is where our daughters live. Traveling is what my blog is all about. I love traveling and seeing interesting places, hiking in nature, bicycle riding, writing in my journal and travel blog, reading books of all sorts, embroidery and cross stitch, and paper crafts. I love cats, although I don't have any now.

Please be patient with me if your postcard is not received as quickly as usual. My address is only a mail forwarding address, so it may take an extra few days to reach me.

What to send me? Please send a postcard from your country only! And, if you come from a country that doesn't have many Postcrossers, send a tourist card if you can. Know that any card you send me will brighten my day and will be appreciated by me!
Here are suggestions to help you, but I also like surprises!
--Holiday, Christmas, New Years, birthday
--2022 Chinese Year of the Tiger new year
--New, old, or vintage pictures, photos, or art of where you live, your city or village, scenic views, people, food, or culture, original to your part of the world. Also views from an interesting perspective.
--UNESCO world heritage sites
--National or Regional Parks
--Maximums (Maxicards)
--People hiking (wandering, walking)
--People reading books or embroidering in interesting places
--Chinatsu Okada cat postcards- I have Matsushima and Lanyu already
--Traveling cat (Tabi Neko) series by Toshinori Mori, I have "July" cat
jumping on boat already
--from Finland-Minna Immonen, I have Bike Tour, or art like hers
--Russian fairy tales and folk art
--Ancient world maps
--German dwarfs
--Vintage or new travel trailers in beautiful or interesting places
--Postcrossing meet-ups and stamps, if your country has them

You can send a handmade card if you make them! If you draw, you are most welcome to draw on my card. Tell me: what is a place that is interesting to visit near you, or a favorite place to walk, and why? Or you can tell me about what you are reading or crafting.
Thank you for reading!
