I live near St. Louis, Missouri. I am an accountant and live with my husband. We have two grown daughters who are living on their own, and one is married and has a little boy. I used to have many cats in my life, but they have all passed on.
I have lived in Biblis and Hanau, Germany and have traveled to many countries and almost all of the United States. Besides exploring the world, I love reading all sorts of books, cats, going for long walks and bike rides, counted cross stitch embroidery, scrapbooking, tea for breakfast, dark chocolate for lunch, and searching for old postcards in antique shops for those who love to receive them.
What to send me?
All of my favorites are cards that I have received that I've especially liked. Here are some other suggestions:
--If you come from a country that doesn't have very many Postcrossers, please send a tourist card.
--Pictures of where you live, your city or village, scenic views, people, cathedrals, temples, or culture, especially if there is something about the view that is original to your part of the world
--UNESCO world heritage sites
--Antique (vintage) postcards or old photographs or art, especially before 1960, of people posing or doing things
--People reading books in interesting places
--Chinatsu Okada cat postcards- I have Matsushima and Lanyu already
--Traveling cat (Tabi Neko) series by Toshinori Mori, I have "July" cat
jumping on boat already
--Ancient world maps
--Postcrossing stamps, if your country has them
Handmade cards are welcome. If you draw, you are most welcome to draw on my card. Tell me: what is a place that is interesting to visit near you and why? You can also tell me what you are reading, about your cat, your current craft project, or your favorite tea.
Thank you for reading!
