hi everyone!

my name is ana and i'm a 41 year old living in a quiet fisherman's town in the southwest tip of europe... but often found in other places too. i studied computer science and work on postcrossing all day, replying to emails, writing blog posts, and generally trying to keep everyone happy. the rest of the time, i spend traveling and hiking, birdwatching, reading, making lists, learning languages, writing posts on my own blog and taking photos with old cameras.

i'm a big fan of science and history, and i love the kind of slow exploration that living in other countries allows. so far, i've lived in groningen (NL), shanghai (CN), ljubljana (SI) and berlin (DE) for a few years at a time — i keep fond memories of all these cities of mine. 

i'm also a big foodie and think about food pretty much all the time... especially eggs! aren't they perfect? 🍳

i cannot resist a good postal museum, or a stationery shop — even though my stock of postcards, washi tapes, rubber stamps and stickers would probably be enough for 2 lifetimes already...
