I live in a town in the middle of the Netherlands with my husband and our two children, a girl (12 years old) and a boy (10). I will send the postcards together with the kids, so it would be nice if received messages also are directed to them as well :)
☆I enjoy music, reading and being outdoors (hiking, scouting, etcetera).
☆My daughter loves to dance and sing, and she's a girl scout. She also likes reading a lot and is fond of Harry Potter's Hermione and Royal families.
☆My son likes al sorts of things, typically for a boy his age: cars, lego, ... He enjoys his sport: ninja lessons :) It's a combination of basics of kung-fu and basics of free-running. He also is a Harry Potter fan, in particular Slytherin, Dobby and Voldemort.
☆I regularly post something at Instagram about my postcrossing adventures :)
☆We are happy to receive any kind of postcard!
If you need inspiration you can check my favorites (many of them I have not received but I think they're nice), or:
-Food, drinks, spices, etc.
-Books, stamps, ...
-Vintage (e.g. ads)
-Lantern Press, Lou Paper
-Music (e.g. Beatles, musical instruments)
-Movies (e.g. Harry Potter, Pride&Prejudice 2005)
-Series (e.g. Spooks, Ripper Street, Glee, Anne with an E)
-Birthday cards in June for Lysanne (June 12th), or in September/October (Oct 1st) for Joris.
-Cut a card size piece out of a food package and send it like an ordinary postcard. Stick the stamp and write the address on it directly. That would make some original and funny postcards I guess :)
