I am Nina, a Chinese-Filipino cat owner from Manila, Philippines. I like reading newspapers, books, comics, and graphic novels (though I don't have much time for it these days). I stay fit through my organic farming apprenticeship. I record my life experiences through journaling, urban sketching, and photography. These days I play Dungeons and Dragons.
IMPORTANT: Please check my stats for a list of received postcards. If your country is not included (or if you come from a country with few active Postcrossers), please send me any postcard, written, dated, and stamped. I prefer illustration or art, but I won't mind (single view) touristy postcards. Handmade is ok too.
Please don't send religious images / saints because I don't practice religion and because statues of saints might remind me of religious horror. No cockroaches too (real or illustrated / cartoon) because I dislike them.
This November 2019, my high school classmates and friends Marielle and Mark will get married. I would like to surprise them with postcards from around the world. You can send them traditional wedding cards from your country. If you don't have these, anything romantic or beautiful will do. Tourist postcards are fine too. What matters is the message that you write for them.
At the back you can write the following: well-wishes and congratulations in your native language plus English translation, wedding traditions, advice for newlyweds, how you celebrated your wedding (if applicable). Also, the couple really likes to search for good food when they travel. You can write down your favorite local food or recommend the best dining spots in your neighborhood.
Thank you very much for making my friends' wedding special.
