Hello there!

Wondering the big gap between my sent and received? I'm a seasonal worker and have been sending cards all the time while keeping my profile inactive. Now I'm back home and can receive some cards again.

My name is Niina and I'm in my early 30s. I have a degree in hotel management, but at the moment I work at a store in a ski resort because the travelling business has been so insecure due to the pandemic and I also wanted to do something else for a while.
In my freetime I like to have walks in nature, read books (everything from young adults to biographies, lately I've been reading books related to the World Wars), watch movies (everything except horror, too scary for me!) and binge watch TV-shows (I'm watching Poldark at the moment). I'm a huge fan of winter sports, especially biathlon and ice hockey. I also watch the Super Bowl every year and enjoy watching the Olympics and World Athletics Championships. Summertime I like to go watch Finnish baseball in different towns in my area.

Please, write something on the postcard. In my opinion Postcrossing is all about the messages on the cards - including the picture, stamps and your note. You can write anything! If you have no idea what to write to me, tell me what you did before requesting the addresses and what you're planning to do after finishing the postcards. Or you could tell me what has happened lately in your home town / garden / school etc.

I love black-and-white cards, portraits, PHQ cards, retro style illustrations and children's book illustrations, but all kinds of postcards are welcome. (My favourites wall and Flickr favourites might be helpful for choosing the card for me https://www.flickr.com/photos/59798435@N08/favorites)

About view cards: I like more single views than multi views and love if the name of the place is visible in the picture/illustration. I like mountains, hills, lakes and my favourite buildings are cathedrals, palaces, old wooden houses or any colourful buildings.

I collect some postcards and a new card to my collections always makes me happy! I hope it doesn't seem like a demand, the list is here just in case you happen to have something on it.
If you don't like these lists, just move forward picking the card you had on your mind and writing it. :)
