For storage reasons, I would prefer to receive postcards that are standard size or smaller. If you have a large card that you think would be just perfect for me, feel free to send it. I prefer NOT to receive typical folded greeting cards. You may send postcards with or without an envelope. If you feel generous, I would enjoy some tea or unused stickers. I don't collect stamps, but I save any that are sent to me and send them to others.
About me: I grew up in California's Bay Area, where the beaches are cold and blustery rather than warm and sunny. I stayed close to home to earn my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, but now I am in the Midwest pursuing a professional degree in healthcare. I love animals; I don't have any pets right now but look forward to welcoming more into my life when the situation allows for it. Previous pets have included chickens and guinea pigs. I enjoy being outside, cooking, and rock climbing when I have the time. Side note: there's a Postcard Fair(?) postcard showing a woman with a blonde ponytail rock climbing in a blue tank top. I have multiples of this card and would be interested in knowing just how many I can collect. So if you have one, feel free to send it to me!
Some ideas of cards to send:
--touristic cards with place name labelled on the front
----if you have one from somewhere near me, I would love it!
--travel poster style
--anything else you think I might enjoy
The above list contains only suggestions, not requirements. It is okay to send me cards with strong language or nudity, but I would prefer not to receive cards about religion or current-day American politics (forum members excepted if we've swapped and gotten to know each other a bit). However, I'll appreciate almost anything you send me, so just use your best judgement! Send me a card that you would like. I love seeing what kinds of cards there are out there. :)
Stuck on what to write?
--tell me about your day
--fun fact or quote
--a simple recipe
--draw something (even if you think you're a bad artist)
I log all touristic cards that have a printed location name on the front of the card. If you send me one, you'll find yours updated on here soon:
