For storage reasons, I would prefer to receive postcards that are standard size or smaller. If you have a large card that you think would be just perfect for me, feel free to send it. I prefer NOT to receive typical folded greeting cards. You may send postcards with or without an envelope. If you feel generous, I would enjoy some tea or unused stickers. I don't collect stamps, but I save any that are sent to me for those who do.
About me: I grew up in California's Bay Area, where the beaches are cold and blustery rather than warm and sunny. I earned my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and am currently working on a professional degree in healthcare. I love animals; previous pets have included chickens and guinea pigs. Currently dreaming of getting rabbits after I graduate. I enjoy being outside, cooking, and rock climbing when I have the time. Side note: there's a Postcard Fair(?) postcard showing a woman rock climbing (see my favorites). I have multiples of this card and would be interested in knowing just how many I can collect.
Some ideas of cards to send:
--touristic cards with place name labelled on the front
----if you have one from somewhere near me, I would love it!
--travel poster style
--anything else you think I might enjoy
The above list contains only suggestions, not requirements. Strong language and nudity are okay. For official cards, I prefer not to receive cards about religion or current-day American politics. I'll appreciate almost anything you send me, so just use your best judgement! Send me a card that you would like. I love seeing what kinds of cards there are out there. :)
Stuck on what to write?
--tell me about your day
--fun fact or quote
--a simple recipe
--draw something (no matter your level of talent)
I log all touristic cards that have a printed location name on the front of the card. If you send me one, you'll find yours updated on here soon:
