About Adina...

*Please send my card written and stamped!*
*If possible, please use Europa 2022 stamps*

Hello! I am Adina and I am from Constanta, a beautiful city located on The Black Sea Coast. I have studied Chemical Engineering in Timisoara, a city situated in the western part of Romania, 800km far from my hometown and I currently live in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.

Postcrossing is one of my favorite hobbies, I like the feeling that I get when I open my mailbox and see the postcards pouring out of it. My favorite collection is with Marilyn Monroe and I'm constantly raising the number of postcards I have with her.

Random stuff that make me happy in daily life: chocolate, coffee, postcards, books, smiles, kitties, puppies, good music, wine, city lights, rainbows, the sound and smell of the sea, shells, wildflowers, lilac, lily-of-the-valley, kisses, barefoot walking, long flowy dresses, reading, quiet places, fridge magnets, small cute useless things with sentimental value. As I grow older I understand that happiness is a mix of simplicity and love, a collection of moments, not expensive things.

If you want to see more of my cute cat, Eric (from my profile pic), follow him on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ericthecat2018/ (yes, I am a crazy cat lady :) )

My favorite postcards are related to:
*MARILYN MONROE - this is my special collection, I have over 100 cards with her. Please check this before sending me a card https://flic.kr/s/aHsmSyLDrj
*Recipes or just food (no meat, please), wine and beer (for my fiance)
*BLUE CATS by Rina Zeniuk. I don't have any cards from this series, but I keep seeing them on the postcrossing wall and they are so cute! I would love to receive some. LE: I received 29 Blue Cats cards, I'm so happy! https://flic.kr/s/aHsmSyJQ2t
*Music (especially Heavy Metal - bands, subculture)
*Art (paintings, photography)
*People in traditional costumes and customs
*Movies (I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Game of Thrones and I used to be obsessed with the Golden Age of Hollywood when I was in high school)
*I would like to know more about your culture, therefore I would be delighted to receive postcards related to your specific holidays when they are due to come (I'm waiting for Christmas cards in December)
*I ENJOY ANY PRETTY CARD. SOME OF MY FAVORITE POSTCARDS DON'T BELONG TO THE CATEGORIES LISTED ABOVE. DON'T BE AFRAID TO SEND ME SOMETHING UNUSUAL, QUIRKY, ARTSY AS LONG AS IT'S TASTEFUL. IF YOU LIKE IT, I WILL LIKE IT :) ANY WEIRD OR OUT OF THE ORDINARY IS MORE THAN WELCOME
*Beautiful cityscapes and landscapes are always welcome
Special request for USA postcrossers: If you can find a card with the Boulet Brothers, please send it my way. I will be forever grateful.

I don't add received cards to "my favorites" - don't want to confuse anybody and get the same postcard twice:)

Please do NOT send hand-made, ad-cards, self-made cards just to get rid of them, only if you like them.

Happy postcrossing
