Today we’re happy to share some good news from the land of cheese and chocolate! 🇨🇭 Swiss Post is going to launch 3 new Postcrossing-themed stamps later this year! Have a look:
Can you guess which stamp should be used on a postcard sent to Switzerland, Europe or the rest of the world?
The trio of fun stamps was drawn by cartoonist Max Spring, whose style will be familiar to many as his illustrations often appear in newspapers, stamps and other publications. He did a wonderful job on these, and we’re sure they’ll be a highlight on any postcard traveling from Switzerland!
Though the stamps will only be launched on September 7th, they’re already available online for pre-order on Swiss Post’s shop. While you wait for September to use them, keep an eye on the forum and meetup page, as a meeting is in the works to celebrate the stamp launch! 😊

Wow these are simply awesome stamps. These kinds of unique stamps always catch my attention as I am interested in latest stamps. Cartoonist Max has nicely brought out the Swiss heritage. Hope to get one soon🇮🇳🇨🇭

Swiss Post at his best : trying to force Postcrossing members to pay for priority postage.
I will continue to send cards with economy postage at 85, 140 and 170 cts.
Blue Switzerland Pink is for Europe and yellow is for World postage. they are pretty straight forward. I hope I get one. Excellent stamps by the Swiss

Fun...Postcrossing exchange cards AND stamps from Switzerland...a great mix. Maybe someday, all the Postcrossing countries will be on board when sending their cards with their own unique Postcrossing stamps. Something to look forward to...

Well, if that yellow one is for World postage, I certainly hope that they change that stamp. That is a very racist and hateful image of Blacks, Asians, and Latinos! This is so derogatory to those three ethnic groups, and I do not understand why no one else is finding offense to this. I guess when it is NOT your culture or heritage, you do not see how demeaning it is. There is nothing "awesome", "cool", "lovely", "wonderful", "nice", or "funny" about it. I find the image to be distasteful and offensive. How sad...this is these very images of people of color that we are fighting against here in America

The "World" stamp is awful and racist. I hate it. The European one assumes that all Europeans are white, in a marginally more subtle sroke of racism.

I don't like these stamps at all. I think the images are ugly and designed in a derogatory way, where the Swiss appear to look down on everyone else. European Union citizens reach up with begging hands, desperate to receive a postcard from Switzerland - where even the animals look smug! People of non-European ethnicity are reduced to three stereotypes, which remind me of Nazi stereotype images. The worst Postcrossing stamps so far!
