I'm a retired librarian, but before I was an educator in a kindergarden for very little children and before an hospital doctor
I like to receive mail, in the past I used to have penpals all over the wordl.
I collect postcard (prefere these with people on them, that is, also city view or landscapes but with people, busy streets, markets) and libraries' cards and also recipe cards and bookmarks. I would like also people reading (photo or paintings)and people at work.I like Nouvelles images (the original french but also from other countries cards of that kind). I like vintage and Black and white cards.
I like to read every kind of book, and travel, I'm interested in history both local and wordl history, I like to learn foreign languages, and I'm active in my community.
I live near Torino, in north west of Italy, it used to be an important industrial city, now we have less industries but, also for olimpic winter games in 2006, many peoples discover its beauty. We have a lot of beatiful palaces and streets but also a lot of very good things to eat, we are proud of them and of our chocolate :-))).

PS I had a look in the forum and I can say I like homemade cards!

to whom will send me cards in november,december, january: I will be very, very glad if you send me a Christmas or new Year card!!(if the stamps is a Christmas one it will be perfect)

I like real cards, not folded greetings.

Of course I like every card I receive also if it's not in my prefereces
