Alright — one last blog post about the new USPS Postcrossing stamps, and then we promise to return to our regular program! 🙂
We met so many wonderful people at the Boston 2026 World Expo a couple of weeks ago: postcrossers who came to the daily meetups, collectors, people who work for the postal services and plenty of friendly faces from the wider stamp world. One of those was Graham Beck, from the YouTube channel Exploring Stamps (and also the creator of the piXPost app), who was there with his partner Laura.
It was really nice to finally meet in person after years of watching his videos (and posting stuff on piXPost!). Graham was doing what he does best at the show: chatting with philatelists, filming interesting stamps and postal bits, and capturing the atmosphere of the event. And, despite a very busy schedule, Graham also took the time to include Postcrossing in his coverage — with some glimpses of the First Day of Issue ceremony and our meetup!

This was so moving. I actually found myself tearing up at a few moments, my heart was just so full of happiness for this community. When he said the meetup felt more like a reunion, that really got me! So grateful for this community <3

I was able to go to this wonderful meetup at the Boston Expo and what an amazing 3 days there - meeting new postcrossing friends, beautiful US postal stamps, beautiful cards, all the lovely postcrossers who took the time to stamp the back of my cards.
Also seeing Paulo and Ana - so great!

What a wonderful meeting, loved listening to the Postcrossing community, to Ana and Paulo, I got goosebumps just watching it! And the MeetUp action, so coordinated with their stamps and all! Congratulations!
What a GREAT video. . .enjoyed seeing everyone! (I still watch Ana in the video from the TED event). I'd like to receive one of those Boston "MeetUp" signed postcards, but wonder if they were designated for sending out specifically internationally with the new stamps. I guess the next project will be to encourage the issue of a domestic Forever USA Postcrossing stamp. . .

I‘m feeling so lucky to have made it to Boston for 4 days and to have found this community. Wonderful memories, it really did feel like family. Meeting Paulo and Ana was one of my highlights, they were always part of the crowd and so friendly and unassuming ♥️

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me, and I made it there! I am still processing the whole experience. I was so anxious and nervous at the meetup, but everyone was very kind and welcoming. It was amazing to see the real people behind the postcards.
