About Tam...

Greetings and felicitations to all from the tall totem country of mountains, forests and ocean! I find the concept of post crossing and the effect of random acts of kindness so enamoring!

It's early in the morning and loved ones are preparing for a busy and exciting day. A quick nap and I'm up for whatever I've committed myself to - helping a friend with some projecct, walking their dogs, etc. Favorite days off may find me with loved ones (and my beloved dachshunds),driving down abandoned logging roads to explore canyons, rivers, ocean shores. Parking the vehicle we take long hikes down desolate areas. Gathering cones or cedar for wreathes, berries for a pastry later or stopping to drink straight from a brook (no bottled water for this nature lover!) I find - a grizzly bear's paw prints in the soft sand, or see a martin jump across the path, perhaps spot a moose and it's calf trotting towards the water - so awe-inspiring!

Heading home while listening to different genres of music, I plan a marvelous meal to serve. Later, I enjoy hazelnut coffee by the huge stone fireplace while the rain pounds on the window. I read an exciting novel or write a few notes - getting nostalgic, thinking of the sendee. If I am still up late at night, I plan a future excursion to one of the islands off the coast, or exploring a fresh site. I look at my collections of tins, eggcups, wooden nutcrackers and of course the array of postcard albums...those mapcards are my favorite! Time goes by quickly and soon it will be time for Halloween...how I love that itchy, witchy, bitchy time of year!

A clink of the glass *clink* for a healthy and fun filled MMXXIII.
My motto:
Live for those who love you
For those whose hearts are true
For the heaven that smiles above you
And the good that you may do.
