About Adrienne...

Hi from Nashville, Tennessee, USA! My name is Adrienne. I like to cook vegetarian (vegan) food, hike in the woods, write letters and postcards, ride my bike, and watch birds!

Thank you for your card! Tell me about your day. Do you have a favorite word or phrase? In Postcrossing, what makes you happier: sending or receiving?

I love reading your profile and choosing a perfect card for you. I have a large stamp collection and decorate my cards with beautiful stamps. I usually use 4-6 per card. I do not use the round USA stamp.

I love to receive beautiful stamps.

Before COVID I travelled a lot for work and fun. I have spent the most time in Malmö and Skåne, Copenhagen, Cardiff, Berlin, NYC, Portland OR, Seattle, Atlanta, and Austin TX.

я буду рада получить открытки из России с переводом! Pасскажи мне миф или местную историю.

Expired cards: inevitable. We send small pieces of paper across vast distances and sometimes they get lost. I don't list expired cards with a Postcrossing member's username on my profile because I would not want anyone to think I am upset with the user for the card not arriving.

Thank you for your card ♥

Update 11/16/2020: Heartbreaking. Covid in the US: 11.1+ million cases, 246,083 dead. 69,987 currently hospitalized. And people still argue about the importance of masks and social distancing. My family has been in quarantine since February.
Update 9/27/2020: COVID is still very bad in the US and it is terrible in my area. 7.1 million cases and 205,000 deaths. The world pities us and rightly so. It's as bad as you can imagine and getting worse.

My household has not been around family or friends since February. We have only been to the doctor and pharmacy and to an outdoor farm for vegetables. Not every person is as careful as we are, unfortunately. Our states are led by Governors who have very different "opinions". Some say coronavirus is not a danger. Others take it seriously and mandate masks. People are still arguing over the wearing masks. Meanwhile there is social unrest and massive unemployment. It's a rough time in the US.

Please keep sending your thoughtful cards! They really help
