About Gina...

PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO REGISTER A CARD YOU HAVE SENT. I will register your card if, and when, I get it. Mail gets lost. The whole purpose of POSTCROSSING is to register the postcard; why would I not do that? Thank-you.

I live on the eastern end of New Providence island with London-born husband of 28 years, two daughters, assorted cats and two Royal Bahamian Potcake dogs, what you would probably call 'rescued mutts'. Enjoy baking cookies, cheesecake and pumpkin pie for them, but never mastered making my mum's chocolate fudge (candy).

I prefer postcards that show...

*For eldest daughter training to be a chef: cooking utensils/tools, mixing bowls, chef's jacket/hat/apron etc/, anything connected with being a chef.

For youngest daughter who wants to be a professional dancer: ballet, ballerinas, ballet pointe shoes, dance costumes, anything connected with different types of dance.

*Ingrid Bergmann and Gina Lollobrigida, the actresses I was named after

*bees, bee-keeping & honey (new interest)

*the name of the city or country on front of the card
*the landscape of your country

*nature of your country (including birds,
plants & animals)

*national costumes
*everyday scenes
*FOOD
*night-time scenes with lights
*beach scenes (let's compare!)

*snow scenes (I've only seen flurries in London that lasted about 2-minutes)

*CATS (domestic/house or big/jungle)!
*redheads (people with red hair)
*Stenvall, Moomins, Virpi Pekkala and Inge Old Ladies, please
*Year of the Ox or VIRGO (September 21st) postcards
*Christmas or holidays in your country
*Japanese GOTOCHI postcards
*art, especially graphics & design
*erotic (tasteful not sleazy)
*B/W Photography

*'Call The Mid-wife' British TV show on PBS-TV
*'Last Tango In Halifax' British TV show on PBS-TV
*1960s/1970s/1980s US TV shows, fashion, music...anything!

Please include the date, temperature & user ID on your card.

Write AIR MAIL in your language somewhere on the card, please.

Envelopes unnecessary.

Sorry, NO MORE PRIVATE SWAPS at this time.

May 18th, 2012...Please write your ID#s carefully especially if using a thick point marker/pen. The numbers may look fine to you but I can't figure out if they're 1s, 4s, 7s or 9s. POSTCROSSING has to track it down and that takes longer. Thanks!

July 21st, 2012...Received two postcards this week stamped MISS SENT TO CAYMAN ISLANDS (from Romania) and MISSENT TO BARBADOS (from Israel). My mail is traveling but I'm not!
