About Lisa...
Hello Postcrossing Friends --
I've enjoyed sharing letters, postcards and cards since a young age when I moved away from my best friend at age eight. I've corresponded with her ever since (although I've done the majority of the writing!) I've also collected Hello Kitty items since I was 18.
Sacramento is the state capital of California with a beautiful climate, although a little hot in the summertime. It is a great location within a couple hours of Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. I live here with my husband and work at the university near my home. We have two adult children.
I've saved all the postcards I've ever received since I was a young child and love to "travel with my friends" through postcards. I try to send them whenever we travel somewhere.
I will enjoy any card that you send, but especially like:
~handmade cards -drawn, painted, repurposed items
~any of the California Missions
~postal themes...boxes, stamps, Maxi cards
~politicians, royalty and political themes
~colleges and universities
~historical information/figures
~gardens & landscapes
~maps
~food
~Inge Look Aunties - I have nos. 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 12,17,18,19, 20, 21, 23, 30, 48, 49, 55, 62, 65, 72, 75 & 610
~sporting events, stadiums especially college football or soccer
I really enjoy the beautiful stamps people have included on their cards. I look forward to hearing from you.
