About Ineke...

My name is Ineke, I am a Dutch woman and I live near the sea. I have two grown-up sons.

I'm also the proud granny of 3 grandchildren. I spent 32 years in Normandy, France, before going back to Holland.

My interests are ballet, reading books, walking in the countryside, vegetarian cooking and writing haiku's.

Cards I particulary like ♥ :

. see the favourites on my wall

.black and white eventually with a splash of colour featuring children or adults

. everything related to reading and writing

. ballet

. mapcards

. gorjuss

. blue cat by Irina Zeniuk

. Audrey Hepburn, Cliff Richard

. Eiffel Tower, love the nostalgic reproductions not the tourist ones

But feel free to send any card you like or that you can get....

'Sometimes day starts grey...
A postcard, kind words, nice stamps,
Brighten up my day!

Nederlandse Postcrossers: Nederlandse klederdrachten in het bijzonder Bunschoten/Spakenburg en Staphorst.

inhabitants of Den Helder are called Jutters.
A jutter is a person who is looking for treasures on the shore when the tide has gone (= beachcomber).
The suffixe "tje" can mean something small ( I am rather petite according to Dutch standards ;)!) or it can have a loving or tender meaning.
Postcrossing is for me a way of gathering treasures from all over the world and I feel the name suits me well!
