🎄🎄🎄 At this time of year, Christmas postcards are most welcome. I keep my Christmas postcards on display all year around. You can see my Postcrossing holiday tradition here:
It would be wonderful to have your Christmas postcard gracing my 2019 Christmas Wall..
Merry Christmas to all of those who celebrate and, as usual, all my best to my Postcrossing Brothers and Sisters from different traditions. ♥ 🎄 ♥
I plan on sharing any postcards that I receive with my two granddaughters. It will be a gentle way to teach them about other countries, other cultures and the world around them. With that in mind, any postcard that accomplishes this goal will be greatly appreciated.
My avatar is a photo of my granddaughters and I playing croquet at a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, it was the best of times ♥
A Few Of Our Favorite Things
-dancing in water fountains :)
-Unicycles, both of my granddaughters know how to ride them. ♥
-sleepovers with Grandma and Grandpa:)
-running through the sprinkler :)
-roasting marshmallows :)
-Grandpa making us breakfast on Saturday morning :)
-recipes from your kitchen to ours (Grandma loves to cook :)
-putting flowers in our hair :)
-sorting postcards :)
The favorites wall display Grandma's wish list.
The Granddaughters' favorite postcards always come in the mail, stamped and written on:)
We also enjoy tourist postcard. Unfortunately, there isn't enough time in the day to actually visit all the wonderful places that make up this beautiful place we call Earth. :)
Please do not be concerned about sending us a duplicate postcard, we believe there is no such thing. The flip-side of every postcard is unique. Your note, the postage stamps, the postmarks, stickers, even the wear and tear of travel, makes any postcard you send one of a kind. :)
Thank you for helping me introduce my Granddaughters to a world of wonderful people and places.
My 82 year old mother also shares in our Postcrossing expierience. She enjoys looking at and reading each postcard along with her Great-Granddaughters. Her favorites are the postcards we receive from Lithuania. Lithuania is where her Mother was born. A postcard from Lithuania always makes her smile...Oh, and she loves Elvis :)
