Weekend giveaway: PostCarden

Remember PostCarden, the postcard + garden combo? Another Studio for Design, the company behind this lovely invention has just come up with MatchCarden, a garden in a little matchbox!

Aren't they the cutest? We wouldn't mind growing a few of these on our desks!

To celebrate this new launch, they're offering a set of PostCardens (includes 4 cards: Allotment, City, Football and Botanical) to one lucky postcrosser. To participate, visit their site, and tell us:

What architectural building from your country do you think should be turned into a PostCarden or MatchCarden?

Answers on the comments, until midnight September 3rd UTC. Good luck!

I think Mount Rushmore would look really nice with a garden around it. I know that it is not a building but it would look great. If not that then I think the Empire State Building would also look great.

The Clock Tower in Sighișoara, Romania - because it is a symbol of one of the few fortified towns which are still inhabited; and they don't seem to have a clock tower in the collection yet, let alone a medieval clock tower :)

My first idea is the Potala-Palace in Lhasa / Tibet. Out of my German roots I suggest Sanssouci-Castle (from the garden side) in Potsdam. And as I live in the Netherlands I go for the old Grachten-buildings in Amsterdam.

The old-styled houses in Pulau Ubin, Singapore. When you think Singapore, often you think of what a beautiful and clean city it is, and places of the past are forgotten, or simply ignored(well, unless they're colonial buildings). These kampung houses may not be designed by brand-name architects, but they are built by those who are just as important- the people :)
