About Sandra...
Hi!
My name is Sandra. I live in Hoogeveen, thats a small town in the province Drenthe. At the north of the Netherlands.
I work as a nurse at a rehabilitationcentre with patients who had a stroke.
At my spare time I like reading, music, theater(musical) and spending time with my friends.
I have two lovely cats,named Lobke and Lisa.
I look forward to receiving postcards from all around the world and also to send them. It's a challenge to find that special kind of card that someone wants, but I can't promess you that I will find it, I try to do my best.
Some things that I like and maybe you have one for me, but it's not an obligation:
* children's book illustrations.
* cards that support charities (like Unicef, SOS Kinderdorf for example or one specialy known in your coutry like we have in the Netherlands "Kinderpostzegels")
* Inge Löök cards.
* with my favorite animals: Giraffe, Monkey or Polar bear
* Alphabet
* winterlandscape
* sunrise or sundown
* from illustrator Silke Leffler
* Correspondances
* Gorjuss
* the beach or beach-related
* with a short poem or quote/inspirational thought
* Loesje (free speech organisation) cards - in your native language or from your own country. Please can you translate what it meens!?
* Moomin
* I love sand castles and sand sculptures.
* typical things from your country
* Map or flag from your town, country, state, province, continent
* cards that shows what kind of houses you have in you country.
I'm not picky, but please no Advertising-cards or selfmade cards.
If you send me a card that you want to receive yourself, maybe you can tell me why you want to receive this card yourself.
Maybe you need some inspiration: My favorites wall is a mix of received cards that I like, and cards seen by others as examples of what I also like and don't have. Don't be afraid to send me a duplicate card, what is written on the back is never the same.
If you don't know what to write: I like to read something about yourself, what have you done during the day, what was/is the weather, your hobbies, or what is seen on the card. Or about your job or study. How does it looks like where you live.
Can you please write the date on your card? I ask that because when I'm old and grey I still know when you've send the card.
I have my own scanner and can scan my received cards, but I don't find it a problem if you scan the card in advance.
I register the cards that I receive the same day. (when I have to work an eveningshift it can be the day after)
Happy Postcrossing!!!
Yours sincerely,
Sandra.
