About Nicy...

Hello postcrossers,

my name is Nicy and I'm 24 years old. I'm living in a small town next to Ulm in South Germany. I study biology in the first year of Master, so I soon will be a biologist in a laboratory. During my bachelor I stayed in Riga, Latvia for half a year as an exchange student. I hope that I can do research on something interesting in the next few years. I'm in the local scout's club and I'm also a geocacher.

As a lot of users have a so called wishlist, I will try also to give you some hints, about the postcards that I like:

* touristic views from your area/town/country (tell me what relation you have to the pictures on the card, e.g. I lived in Riga for half a year and I passed by the "pulver tornis" almost every day, which was in the Old-Town of Riga, so I wrote a card with a picture of this on it, see here: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/LV-20999 )

* specific cards with angels or butterflys or four-leaf clovers or season greeting cards or royal persons of your country(I collect these cards beside the touristic view cards, I'm always happy to get a card for my collection, but if you are living in a country with an ID under XX-200.000 then I would prefer a touristic view card!)

* handmade cards are very welcome (I receive a lot of wonderful handmade cards so far. I think they are very unique and special. So if you like to make your own card, please send one to me.)

* favourite list (maybe you want to check my list of favourites here at postcrossing?)

* my favourite movies/TV Shows/Musicals: "Star Wars", "Death Note", "Lord of the Rings", "Wizard of Oz" / "Wicked", "Merlin" (bbc one) and "Game of Thrones" (HBO) - if you have a card of these shows, I'm the right person to send to! :)

I prefer postcards coming the "normal" way (written & stamped), but if you think that your card needs a protection with an envelope than you can send it in an envelope of course.

Please don't leave the card white on the backside - fill it with your life and your ideas! Maybe with a painting, drawing, favourite lyrics, your introduction, some phrases in your language, interesting facts about your country/town/area...

Please use nice stamps on your postcard! :)

I don't like:
*adcards
*animal- and flowercards (unless these animals and flowers are specific for your country, e.g. stateflowers, statebirds...)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING! :) I'm also trying to find the "perfect" card for the ones that I send postcards to!

Each received postcard is a special gift for me! :)

You can write your card in English, German, French, Latvian or Latin. At the moment I try to learn Dutch and thanks to Latin I can also understand written Spanish, Italian and Romanian!

Happy postcrossing everyone!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE NICE CARDS I RECEIVED SO FAR!!!!!
