Can I ask a favor? My friend Max is a U.S. Marine and is currently serving a long tour in Afghanistan. He is a fellow postcrosser, but can't participate in postcrossing because he can't send postcards right now, but he can receive them. If you have the time and money please send him an extra postcard. Hello! My name is Jeane,

I have a very special request to receive Year of the Dragon cards please, because I will be having my first child this year, 2012, Year of the Dragon. It would mean so much to me to receive Year of the Dragon Cards to commemorate this special event in my life!

More about myself: I am 29 years old, but a kid at heart =)

I am a literature nerd! My biggest passion in life is books. I just got my BA in Literature, and my plan (hopefully) is to get my Masters in Library Sciences and become a librarian.

I am a total geek too, I LOVE all things geeky like comic books, sci-fi or fantasy shows/movies/books, anime, and all the other geeky types of things.

When I am not reading, I am trying to stay as active as possible. I ride my bike, scuba dive, snorkel, hike, etc. I love to travel! I have spent some time in Japan and I have been to Europe several times, and plan on many more trips back, and dream of going to the Great Wall of China.

I am a vegetarian, and I love animals of all sorts!

I have no preferences to any postcards I get as long as they don't contain dead animals of any sort (skulls, leather, fur, meat, or anything of the sort >_< ).
