I register the card the same day I receive it. I also send the card the same day that I produce the address. I do this in respect for my fellow Postcrossers!
I love to recive postcards, and the motive doesn't matter, but the only thing I don't want is tourist card (multi view) over your home town.
But if you wonder what I like, here are some suggestions:
Cats, preferable as cartoon or in art
Photo arts like Mapplethorp, David LaChapelle, Albert Watson, Sarah Moon, Vee Speers, Nick Brandt, Jan Saudek
All kind of art cards, classics as new
Nature - Sea, storms, moon, sun, clouds, lightning, waves, halo, aurora borealis, rainbow
Wild animals - prefer wild cats ;-)and wolfs

In my favourite gallery is not just cards I want, it's also cards I got that I like very much.
But what I most want is your most precious card, that you like best, maybe I will have a new favourite :-)
If you are a collector, you cannot expect what you want from me, (but I will try to send you a card from your wishlist) but if you like surprises, I'm the right one to send you a card
I love to go on flea markets and travelling is another interest.
