I like to walk in the forest, pick berries,listen to the birds, look at the beauty of nature. I'm a geocacher, and prefer rural caches. And I do love everything related to the sea and nature in general; wild life, the "power of nature" (high waves, lightning, fog, rainbows for instance), the ocean, (costal) landscape, lightouses.... I'm also fascinated by the space (polar lights, planets, stars etc), and what's beneath our feet (stones, minerals, fossiles...)

I do also love animals! I live in a rural area where I see wild animals quite often. Badgers and deers and a lot of birds for instance. My favourite animals are weird, unusual, ugly or beautiful (sea) creatures, hedgehogs, foxes, lynxes, tigers, squirrels, owls, puffins, jelly fishes and fishes!

I enjoy reading, and I especially like to read fantasy/fiction, historical books and books about animals. I'm also interested in myths, legends and fairy tales. If I find an interesting book I tend to buy it, or bring it home from a book swap shelf. I have too may unread books! I'm also a Bookcrosser, so I leave books behind "in the wild" when I've read them.

I do also like knitting and crocheting. Mostly simple, fast projects. But I'm working on a large blanket for myself too; 1x2 meters. I want to be able to wrap myself very well in it on cold days.
I have way too much yarn; can't stop buying it!

When travelling somewhere, I like to visit museums (not art museums, they are boring), zoos and aquariums. And just walk around in the cities, towns or in the nature, to see the place. I'm not staying on the beach the entire day, although a short swim is nice. I rather learn about the place I visit; culture, history, local food etc!
I'm fascinated by crafts; wood carving, glass blowing, blacksmith's work etc. I like to visit the local glassworks and see the glass blowers work!

I do also do various voluntary work;
Red Cross; Homework support, Childrens Red Cross, gatherings for elderly people living at home, baking and selling Christmas cakes to raise money etc.
Veien Kulturminnepark (Veien Cultural Heritage Park); I'm a member if the local Iron Age Ring, where we learn about crafts from the Iron Age, and show it to others at the museum.
Zooniverse; I do participate different scientific projects on this website, like Snapshot Serengeti and Bash The Bug.

The message on the postcard is important to me. I love reading long messages on the postcards I receive (as long as a postcard allows!).
