My name is Ursula and I live in the Rhine-Neckar region in South Germany, best known for beautiful Heidelberg. A long time ago I studied languages and linguistics and still love everything that has to do with other languages. I also love reading (I am a big fan of the Booker Prize), knitting and spinning yarn on my spinning wheel, listening to all kinds of music - and sometimes surfing the internet. I am interested in knowing people from all over the world and exchanging ideas and views. I am mother of two grown-up sons and in the summer of 2010 I became grandmother of a sweet little baby girl. I am curious about everything that happens in the world.
With regard to postcards I would appreciate it if you sent a postcard from where you live - I like to see other places because I haven't had the chance to travel much. If you don't have such a card take a look at my favourites and surprise me with something beautiful!
If you're a native speaker of Portuguese or Spanish, it would be a great pleasure if you wrote in your mother tongue (unless you're happier with practising English or German, of course!).
