About Ursula...

Dear fellow postcrossers,

How nice to meet you via postcrossing! I live in the Rhine-Neckar region in southern Germany, best known for beautiful Heidelberg. A long time ago I studied languages and linguistics and still love everything that has to do with languages. I also love reading (I am a big fan of the Booker Prize), knitting and spinning yarn on my spinning wheel, listening to all kinds of music, and I am an avid urban gardener in an eco-friendly project.

With regard to postcards I would appreciate it if you sent a postcard from where you live. I like to see other places because I haven't had the chance to travel much. As I am particularly interested in anything that has to do with textiles (spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, etc.) postcards on related objects or activities are also very welcome. And of course sheep! Or take a look at my favourites, they only contain postcards I haven't received yet. You're also welcome to suprise me - any postcard in my mailbox makes me :-)

If you're a native speaker of Portuguese or Spanish, it would be a great pleasure if you wrote in your mother tongue (unless you're happier with practising English or German, of course).
I look forward to hearing from you :-)

21 June 2019: Sometimes mail services are amazing in all kinds of ways. Today I received postcard RU-646132 from Julia from St. Petersburg. She dated the card and it has 14 November 2011 as sending date! Sadly, I can't register it anymore. Still, I'd like to say "Thank you" to Julia!
