I live in St. John's in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. St. John's is the capital city and is on the Atlantic Ocean. Newfoundland & Labrador is the most easterly province of Canada. Newfoundland is an island and Labrador is part of the "mainland" of Canada.

I am an amateur photographer; I have a website (http://bitstop.ca/) and a photo-a-day blog (http://bitstop-nfld.blogspot.com/). My hobbies and interests are photography, reading, listening to music, geocaching, birdwatching, nature walks and traveling. Here are some of the places I have visited:

I am enjoying Postcrossing! I would really like postcards showing what your country looks like - landscapes, cities, towns, the countryside, lakes, the coastline, mountains, buildings, lighthouses, aerial views, architecture, etc. I love multi-view & single view tourist cards.

My favourites are lighthouses, beautiful/unusual architecture, aerials & landmarks.

I'd also enjoy receiving postcards from any of the places I have visited.

I'm not a stamp collector but I do appreciate nice/different stamps on my postcards.

Please no folded greeting cards, no envelopes, no printed sheets of paper. Postcards only. Thank you.

If you don't have a postcard showing what your country looks like, I also like flowers (especially wildflowers), dragonflies, butterflies & birds; my favourite artists are Monet, Jack Vettriano & Marjolein Bastin; and cartoons like Charlie Brown, Snoopy & the Peanuts, Ziggy & Holly Hobbie. Christmas is my favourite holiday & autumn is my favourite season. "The Sound of Music" is my favourite movie and "Little Women" is my favourite book.

-Australia: koalas, kangaroos or Ayers Rock (Uluru)
-France: any landmark in Paris (Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, etc)
-UK: any landmark in London or Stonehenge
