About Ellen...
Hi, you found me! My name is Ellen, I'm 26 years old and I live in the beautiful town of Antwerp, Belgium.
About me, I like languages, sports, film, travelling, videogames, reading, music festivals and concerts, culture and of course chocolate! I hate mosquitos, delayed trains and shower curtains though ;). I lived in Braga (Portugal) and Castellón de la Plana (Spain) for a while, so those places will always be special to me. You can write to me in English, Dutch, Spanish or Portuguese, no problem. I'm learning German at the moment, so postcards in German would also be very welcome. Teach me something ;)!
I don't really prefer any specific type of postcard, I love them all! But if you need help deciding what kind of postcard to send me, here are some suggestions (in no particular order):
Something which is pretty or special or tells me about you or your location
Night/dusk city/nature views with pretty skies
Black and white cards
University buildings/premises
UNESCO WHS
Postcards with graffiti art, cherry blossom trees, mailboxes, penguins, bicycles/professional cycling, books or reading
Art nouveau/jugendstil (Mucha)
Pixar/studio ghibli/lali riddle/legend of zelda/Joan Miró/where is Waldo
Modern architecture (calatrava, frank gehry etc)
Reprints of beautiful old advertisements
But, as I said before, if you don't have any of the above, no worries, I like all postcards.
I love pretty or special stamps, but I will of course understand if you don't have them. If you do, you would make me very happy!
Please, if possible, no ad cards, except for when they tell a nice story (or are related to your story). The text and thought is what counts.
I love reading postcards too, so please, write something on the back (no envelope necessary).
If you don't know what to write, tell me about the best thing in your life right now, something not many people know about your town/country, what you like about your country, your favourite place in the world, your next challenge or adventure... Anything really! And book/film recommendations are always welcome as well!
Anyway, thank you so much for choosing a postcard for me and taking the time to write something! I hope to hear from you soon!
^_^
P.S. Oh, could you please date the postcard?
