It’s happening!! The new US Postcrossing stamps are now available for pre-order (with some fun extras too!), ahead of their official issue date on May 26.
We’ve been making “heart eyes” 😍 at these little triangles for weeks, and we can’t wait to start seeing them on postcards traveling all over the world. If you’d like to be ready for launch day, now is a good time to place an order!
Besides the stamp issue itself, USPS has also created a few collector-friendly items:
- Postcrossing Stamps: the stamps themselves! They come in a set of 8, so you get 2 of each design.
- Postcrossing Maxicards: set of 4 different maxicards, with stamps included so that you can mail them.
- Postcrossing First Day Covers: set of 4 envelopes.
- Postcrossing Digital Color Postmarks: set of 4 envelopes.
- Postcrossing Stamp Portfolio: includes a sheet of 8 stamps, a cancellation postcard and a collectible folio.
- Matted Stamps: features a square of 4 stamps, matted and ready to frame.
Sadly, USPS only ships within the United States… but hopefully people in other countries can find someone there willing to arrange a swap with them, if they are interested in some of these. ☺️
Happy pre-ordering! If you’re in the US and would like to celebrate this stamp issue with other postcrossers, there will be meetups happening around the launch date — including a very big one at the Boston 2026 World Expo on May 26. You can find the details (and other meetups being organized) on the events calendar.
Also, next week we’ll be publishing an interview on the blog with Antonio Alcalá, the USPS art director for this stamp issue, with some fun behind-the-scenes details. Stay tuned!

hope US Postcrosser will send me official postcard with these stamps
Finally, it is happening and cannot wait to order them.
Ordered yesterday.
These are so fun! Even the shape and size are so smart—considering a postcard’s prime real estate. 🤓 I wish every country’s postal service could have special Postcrossing stamps!
They are beautiful, but I also live outside the USA.
Maybe I will get one on a postcard & I know our little island would not be having Postcrossing stamps.
Nice sets 🙂 It's just a pity that there is no shipping outside the USA.
Hope to find postcards in my mailbox with these beautiful stamps.
Greetings to the postcrossers from the USA. I also hope to receive a postcard with such wonderful postage stamps someday.
I'm excited to buy them! It'll hurt spending $23 on 4 postcards but I'll do it (probably more than once).
How cool are these stamps? Hopefully I receive at least one postcard from USA with the beautiful stamps someday.
Very excited to send some of these out to the world!
Just got mine. I can't wait to mail some out. If you do direct swaps, feel free to email me so I can send you one.
Already placed my pre-order and I'm very excited!
I've turned in my pre-order. I'm very excited about these!!
There are people on eBay who are already selling these for pre-order, and will ship internationally. I am hoping the stamps will be a big shot in the arm for U.S. Postcrossing!
Ordered some maxicards to trade with people in countries that don't have a lot of postcrossers. I have to wait until they come, but message me if you're interested in a swap!
Yay! At last 🎉
So much fun
I'll be picking up the Postcrossing stamps in BOSTON on May 26th! They will be sent off to my future Postcrossing addresses around the world. Can hardly wait!
OMG- I went bonkers and ordered over $50 worth. 😳 Only beans for the family for the rest of the month.😝
I placed an order for 10 sheets! I can't wait to start sending them off to the world! 📫
I love these stamps, let's hope Australia Post take notice and follow along. Triangle stamps! Perfect for postcards.
I've got mine pre-ordered!
I have pre-ordered them too! Since my birthday is in May, I am considering them a birthday present to myself 😃.
Despite already having a lot of stamps, I broke my own no-purchase rule and pre-ordered. Being in the US I won't receive a letter or card that uses international postage, so buying a sheet is the only way to get up close. They look so cheerful!
I am absolutely delighted that you in the USA have finally getting your very own Postcrossing stamp 🤩!
I still have such fond memories of when we here in Germany were able to celebrate our own decicated Postcrossing stamp!
Congratulations to all of you in the states - the wait was well worth it!
I can hardlly wait to recieve the new and first of your PC Stamp 😊
I am celebrating right along with you 🎉😀
I've pre-ordered mine and can't wait to begin using them!
I'm so excited to get these! I preordered them instead of waiting to see if my local Post Office gets them. Any chance one of my fellow Postcrossers will design a lovely postcard for them?
The US postal service also has First-Day-of-Issue Digital Color or Traditional Postmarks for the postcrossing stamps. See page 47 of the April 30 Postal Bulletin.
They look really good.
