I love how on my wall there are multiple versions of the same card - Would it be hard (yes it probably would) to get a set of "stock" cards so that the pictures are the same or are linked to the same picture? So that you don't have 3 or 4 copies of the same picture that have been favorited?

Ah... I just noticed the "Popular" is only viewable by yourself (i.e. the user himself). I would like it to be viewable by anyone. There is no reason why the "Popular" would only be viewable by the user himself and not other users.

I agree with ammy. I would like to see the popular cards of others as well.

re: ammy, marieke_1, we thought about it, but didn't want people to go look for users' most popular cards and vote on those, therefore making the list biased. it's more of an internal meter for you to measure the interest of your postcards.

The postcard that is the most popular on my wall surprises me! I would never have guessed. And I rather like that no one can see the cards most popular on my wall. It gives me a bit of an advantage in sending cards that will be genuinely well liked without the "american idol" type influence it could have if the information was known to all.

I smiled when I saw this feature! Over the past year or so, I have clicked on some of my "sents" to see if there are any that are desirable to a few people...that way I could send one that would be apprecitated. This will save me lots of clicks and time. Occassionally I will have one or two spare ones of the "popular sent postcards, and can mail one out to a member who favors that. This way I can be sure that my special card finds is "specia;" postal destiny.
On day 8 of the 2010 winter olympics I send greetings from the host province (British Columbia).

Thank you for making this available. While I'm curious about "most popular in PostCrossing" too, thank you for NOT making that available. As soon as people can affect a matter of public display it turns into a popularity contest and people impolitely nagging each other "please favorite my card!" So I'm glad you did it exactly the way you did.
