About Am...

NOTE: I'm really busy right now, so if you've messaged or e-mailed me, you may have to wait a little longer for a reply. To my regular letter friends, I have not forgotten you! I will write back to you - just give me some time! ;) Thanks!

I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate (Music, Psychology & Linguistics) in my 30s who teaches piano for a living. I run my own music studio and hold regular recitals and casual concerts. I sometimes perform and compose as well, when the opportunity arises. ♪♫

My hobbies are diverse but relate mainly to the arts. In addition to my website, here are some other places where I can also be found:

Postcrossing, for me, is about the joy in connecting to other people in the world, not about what card I receive. So don't worry about what to send me - I'm ok with anything as long as YOU picked it for ME. =)

If you would like to cater to my tastes and preferences, you can look in my favourites gallery:
http://www.postcrossing.com/user/ammy/gallery/favourites

I generally prefer cute, quirky, bold or artsy cards. Not your usual run-of-the-mill kind of stuff.

I also collect erotic photography cards (e.g. Playboy, Hustler, etc) and female pin-ups, so if you send me one of these, I will send you back a thank-you card. Just include your address clearly written, together with what you send.

***TAKE NOTE***
If you are sending a card with photographic nudity, the card MUST be put in an envelope, otherwise it will be confiscated by the Post Office!

Here are some ideas on what to write:

1) What do you do for a living?
2) Do you like the country you're now living in? Why or why not?
3) How do you get around most of the time? E.g. Bus, car, bicycle, etc
4) What do you usually eat? (You could name some local dishes.) And do you like it?
5) What time do you usually sleep and wake up?

I would also love it if you're able to write me a sentence you always use (doesn't have to be a greeting), in your own language (with English translation). I am learning Finnish now by the way. =)

欢迎华族朋友们用中文与我沟通。 =)

You are welcome to continue mailing me outside of Postcrossing.

If you really want to make my day, send me stickers, any kind of paper (e.g. notepads, notebooks, fancy writing paper, loose letter sheets, fancy post-its, etc), black and white fotos, vintage stuff, stationery, etc.

All received mail will be replied to, and if you send me additional stuff, you will receive additional stuff too. =)
