Year of the Tiger
Happy 2010!
While half of the world has already put away their celebratory hats and champagne cups, some are still stocking on fireworks for another big celebration... the Chinese New Year! On February 14th begins the Year of the Tiger... which means... it's time for another exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum!
On previous years, these collaborations resulted in amazing exhibitions (Year of the Rat, Year of the Ox) and so, once again, the museum is asking the Postcrossing community for submissions. This time the theme is, of course, tigers! You can mail your postcards and/or stamps featuring these big felines to:
Mishelle Lim(Year of the Tiger exhibition)

Mishelle at the Philatelic Museum promises to reply to all the cards received till February 10th, so what are you waiting for?
Happy Year of the Tiger! Xin nian kuai le!

I have ordered 10 at this stage and will send one to Mishelle, for sure.
I should have added that the illustration is of the maximum card that can be purchased seperately - which I've ordered 10 of ... if anyone would like me to send them one, let me know - I can send it written and postmarked or clean in an envelope.
Cheers, Graeme.
I wish I will find a card with a tiger, so I would sent it to the exhibition too :)
Actually printed a few so if anyone wants one see my profile and specify on your card 'tigers'.
It shows 2 tigers in snow. Just right for the time of the year. :)
I hope the exhibition is very successful and full of inspired visitors.
;)
