About dosankodebbie...

I live in beautiful Hokkaido, the northernmost island/prefecture of Japan. I am a professional translator and an Etegami artist. Etegami is a traditional Japanese mail art that combines drawings and words on postcards. I am also very interested in cooking traditions around the world.

Although I am thankful for every card I receive, my preference is for postcards showing wildlife (not pets), scenery of the countryside or the ocean (not city views), and regional cuisine. I collect photos and artwork of Owls and Turtles.

If you are a mail artist, I would love to have a sample of your artwork, in which case I would be happy to send you my mail art in return. To find out more about Etegami, visit my blog: http://etegamibydosankodebbie.blogspot.com

Thank you all for the wonderfully encouraging feedback I received after I was interviewed on the Postcrossing Blog on April 21, 2015--> https://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2015/04/21/debbie-s-etegami-cards
