About Kristen...

Hi!! I'm 17, living in a suburb of Phoenix called Peoria. I've lived in the same town my entire life, but one day that will change.

All cards are very much appreciated by me. If you don't have anything on the following list, it's quite all right. Do NOT feel as though you must apologize on the card. I am certain I will like whatever card you choose. These are merely preferences. Postcrossing is all about just receiving a postcard.

*Some things I enjoy*

I am eager to see your world! Therefore, my only request is that you not send a card of a picture of another country. So if you send a touristy card, please make it of your town or a place near where you live.

I'm a big musical theatre fan and would love a postcard related to musical theatre. Maybe an ad card from a local theatre production? Or music or theatre in general. Any kind of music.

I like fish, especially goldfish.

I like all kinds of food and recipe cards.

I like royalty (I have a mild obsession with Elisabeth of Bavaria. It goes back to my musical obsession.)

I like Moomin cards. If you send me a Moomin card, please don't write anything on it and put it in an envelope if possible. If you don't want to, fine by me. :)

I like history and flag cards.

I like colorful map cards and subway maps.

Please write the date on the card. I prefer cards sent without envelopes because I like to think of its long journey across places I've never been to.

I don't mind if you want to write in your native language. Simply tell me what language it is. I especially like Dutch, because I'm so proud when my knowledge of German helps me read it. I could probably muddle my way through Portuguese too, because I did take 2 years of Spanish. Oh, and if you're a super language freak like I am, write in IPA!!

Don't know what to write?? Write about anything you want. Draw a picture, write your favorite quote, tell me about yourself, tell me about your family, tell me about your kids, tell me about your pets, tell me about your city, tell me about your job, tell me what you remember about your first day of school, tell me your favorite place to vacation or travel to, tell me a secret, tell me what you hated most as a child, tell me the last thing you ate, tell me your favorite favorite food, tell me your favorite book, tell me the weather for the day, tell me whether you've ever been to Peoria, tell me your favorite song, tell me something that happened to you when you were 17, tell me about your dream last night, tell me something you swore you'd never do/believe/say/think/follow/take part of but now find yourself doing exactly it, tell me your most embarrassing moment, tell me your goals in life, tell me your dreams and hopes for the world, tell me about your country's post office (what days mail is delivered, what color airmail stickers are, what color the mailboxes are, what your personal mailbox looks like), write down anything!

I upload all received cards onto my Wall.

Thank you!!
