Zanzibar photographer Javed Jafferji has spent his life capturing his undying affection for the island. Javed’s photography and filmmaking education, together with his varied cultural background from Tanzania, Pakistan, and the UK, polished his creative skills. After graduating from Paddington College and Salisbury College of Art & Design, Javed became a paparazzi photographer, capturing the lives of the royal family and celebrities in London. In 1995, he returned to Zanzibar to pursue his dream of visually communicating the beauty and soul of his beloved birthplace.
