Nowy Sącz [ˈnɔvɨ ˈsɔnt͡ʂ] (German: Neu Sandez, Hungarian Újszandec) is a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland. Founded on 8 November 1292, Nowy Sącz is one of the oldest towns in the Lesser Poland region.
