About Julia...

Greetings from Russia!

My name is Julia and I live in Sosnovy Bor (not far from St-Pete). My hometown is rather small but still I love it as it's right near the Gulf of Finland. We've got plenty of greenery, seagulls, snow in winter and ... tourists who enjoy sunbathing on the beach in summer!

Some things about me. I'm a sociable and communicative person who loves meeting new people and does not mind making new friends from different corners of the world by exchanging postcards;)) I'm also pretty curious and a bit dreamy. I like to spend my spare time with friends playing table games and watching various movies. When the weather outside is dreadful I prefer sitting in my warm flat with a good novel in one hand and a cup of tea in another. Besides,I do love travelling very much because each country has something truly special.Unfortunately, I can speak only my mother tongue (Russian) and English so far but I hope I'll learn a few more languages in the future. The more, the better:) My greatest passion is music. I listen to different kinds of it but I guess I enjoy rock the most, especially, such bands as Rolling Stones, Beatles, Queen, Nirvana, Bon Jovi and so forth. Can't live a day without listening to favourite songs so you see my neighbours do have strong nerves! What's more to add? I love cats, History, Italian pizza,Disney cartoons and ... yes,I'm a girl who loves football)))

I don't have any particular demands about postcards. I'll be glad to receive cards with people in traditional costumes and some well-known historical objects or just cute animals and picturesque views. In other words, with anything that you think best represents yourself and your country.

In your postcard I'd love you to write what your favourite song is and why it is special to you. Also, I would be grateful if you could write some words in your mother tongue. Well, it would be wonderful if you could tell me something about yourself. It could be the description of the happiest moment in your life or the most beautiful thing you've ever seen, some interesting experience or an important event. Maybe you've got an achievement that you're proud of? In fact, it doesn't really matter what exactly you'll write - it just has to be an interesting piece of information about you that you want to share. By the way, do not hesitate to ask me any questions in your postcards if you wish. I'll answer them all, I promise!

Thanks for reading this till the end! Now you know more about me and my life!

I look forward to recieving your postcards!

Best wishes and have a nice day:)
