Hi there!
At the beginning of August 17 I washed a stamp from Austria with the postcrossing logo. I didn't know at all what postcrossing was.I used the net to get more information. It's a wonderful idea and I'm looking forward to receiving some lines from unknown people all over the world.

I live in Zermatt. It is a small village in the southern part of Switzerland. From my sofa I can see the Matterhorn. Zermatt is only a small step from Italy. In the winter, I pass the border on my skies and have a Pizza with our southern neighbours. It's great!

I like hiking, sport in general, maps and stamps. I've been collecting them for many years. They show so many different aspects of a country. I like washing, pressing and arranging them in my albums. Do not throw them away. There's always a collector more or less far away.

I work as a teacher at the local school. Maths, French, Geography and History are my favorite subjects. I like the challenges young people represent to us.
