My name is Sophie and I'm 16 years old. I live in Nordhorn which is located in Lower Saxony's south western corner near the border with the Netherlands and the boundary with North-Rhine-Westphalia.
I've got one younger brother whose name is Paul. My parents are both teachers and they support me in everything I do.
My hobby is to play the piano, I also go dancing. Besides I play football and tennis and read lots of books. If there's someone who likes Harry Potter, please tell me :D
I'm interested in other countries, especially Argentina and Mexico. After taking my "Abitur" (like English A-levels) I want to go to Buenos Aires, La Plata, Córdoba, San Miguel de Tucumán, Guadalajara and Mexico DF. Maybe there are some people who read my profile and already lived in one of these cities, then please tell me something about what I have to do.
Another hobby is of course Postcrossing. I like every card you are going to send me, but most I like cards which show:
- cities
- landscapes
- beaches
- historical buildings
- people in typical clothes for their regions
- maps

mein Name ist Sophie und ich bin 16 Jahre alt. Ich lebe in Nordhorn. Diese Stadt liegt im äußersten Südwesten von Niedersachsen an der Grenze zu den Niederlanden und der Grenze zu Nordrhein-Westfalen. Ich habe einen kleinen Bruder, der Paul heißt. Meine Eltern sind beide Lehrer, die mich in allem, was ich mache, unterstützen. Meine Hobbies sind Klavier, Tennis und Fußball spielen. Außerdem lese ich gerne, vor allem Harry Potter. Wenn hier irgendjemand Harry Potter Fan ist, soll er mir es unbedingt sagen:D
Nach dem Abitur möchte ich unbedingt nach Argentinien oder Mexiko gehen, da mir Buenos Aires, Córdoba, San Miguel de Tucumán, La Plata, Guadalajara und Mexiko-Stadt sehr gefallen.
Außerdem gefällt mir Postcrossing. Natürlich gefällt mir jede Postkarte, die ich bekomme, aber am meisten freue ich mich über Karten von:
- Städten
- Landschaften
- Stränden
- historischen Gebäuden
- von Menschen in traditioneller Kleidung
- Karten
