About Rasa...

Hello,

My name is Rasa. I am a student of sociology, currently living in Finland (I'm not a Finn). Originally I am from Lithuania, which is not far from Finland anyway.

I would like to get a card from you with a short piece of writing - description of a card (like what is there and why you think it's interesting), description of your day or interesting events that are happening around you, something about your country or place you live, etc. Please write something more than 'happy postcorssing. I live in ...' After all, I want to get your story and not a piece of paper with a picture (I could buy these myself without postcrossing if I would be interested just in cards)!

Also, as a true admirer of different societies, I would love to get one of these cards, if possible:

- A picture of a human (preferably typical for the region you're coming from - indigenous people, people in their everyday lives, most typical people, etc.). It can be old or young, poor or rich, full figure or just a face. The more crazy and interesting, the better!

- A picture of the typical/traditional street/view of the area you're in. Day or night, summer of winter, as long as it really describes your area. NO multiple picture cards, though.

- A retro style card with different crazy old adds or scenes. Something that represents the history of your area.

- Any UNICEF, WWF, Red Cross or other organization card will do as well. Or just a weird and crazy card in general :)

Is that a challenge enough for you?

Ah, remembered to write what I DO NOT particularly enjoy about the cards. These include:
- pictures of movie, music or any other 'stars' and famous people;
- pictures of animals in unnatural situations - I do not care how much the bunny is cute, but as long as it is with a pink bow in the Easter basket with a duck and a dog, please avoid these :) Animals in nature are fine, on the other hand;
- golden, silvery or sparkly decorations on the cards. I really do not enjoy these, as well as all the ribbons, hearts, pinkish flowers etc.;
- I'm not a fan of multiple picture cards, so please choose the card with just one picture.

Let's have a nice postcrossing!
