About Marina...

Hi there!
My name is Marina, I'm from Minsk. I study intercultural communications and work in beauty sphere. My interests are music and art history, I just can't imagine my life without them. I like watching films, most of all old American ones, like some with my favourite actress Audrey Hepburn or created by Alfred Hitchcock, but some modern will do as well. What is more, I'm a bookworm of a really hopeless kind as I do feel sorry about not having any chance to read all the books in the world. Also, I'm a vegetarian and do really believe that every person can make this world a little better.

Let's get closer to the point:) I'll certainly like any postcard you choose! But there are some themes that I like more, and they are:
-black & white photo
-vintage photo
-paintings (for example, I adore van Gogh, Claude Monet, Dali, Magritte, Chagall...)
-anything connected with retro movies, especially Golden Age of Hollywood
-postcards by Donald McGill
-trains and trams, mainly the old ones
-coffee
-cats (especially Simon's cat or cats by Maria van Bruggen),
-horses, pandas, or, maybe, your favourite animal
-birds (owls and swifts are my special love)
-Krtek the Czech mole
-British Royal Family
-the Moomins (I think that Moominmamma is a perfect woman)
-Wallace & Gromit characters, especially Shaun the Sheep
-A Bear called Paddington
-Paris or Prague theme
-funny or strange pictures
-pin-up
-Japanese culture (anything from geisha to Maneki Neko, including some characters like Totoro as well ^_^)
-birthday cards in November and holiday cards all the year round

Green and violet are my favourite colors, if it's important) Handmade is ♥.

Things that I don't like are not so numerous, but mainly they are insects and kids. Still, these postcards will do, if you believe that it's your postcard that will change my mind)

Also, I would be really happy if you write me something about yourself, like your favourite movie or song, maybe your favourite phrase (in English and in your native language) or something about the book you've recently read. Or, you can attach something interesting from your everyday life like a bus ticket or a tree leaf. I know that postcards are not especially spacious, but I really want to know something about you instead of just receiving a postcard.

Thanks a lot for reading this, and happy postcrossing!
