(I will introduce some facts about China to you in my profile.)
(They are put in brackets. Just skip them if you are not interested.)

My name is Deng Xingrui.You can just call me by my English name,Daniel.
(We put our family name in front of the given name in China.)

I study in university in Beijing now and will graduate in July this year.
My major is Civil Engineering(thought I would like it...).
(In order to continue higher education after high school,we need to take National Colledge Entrance Examination (you may have heard it in terms of "Gao Kao"). Chinese,English and math are obligatory for every students.Students who study science should also take physics,chemistry and biology and who study libral arts,history,geography and politics.)

I've never been abroad yet so postcards really help me get to know other parts of the planet.I love stamps too!
(It takes me 4.5 RMB (about 0.72 USD and 0.66 EUR) to send a postcard abroad and 1.5 RMB to Hong Kong,Macau and Taiwan.)

I am not picky about what you are going to send me. Please feel free to make your choice. However, I prefer not to receive certain kinds of postcard below:
-Multiview cards.I can barely see anything from those tiny pictures.
-Pet cards.I do like animals but frankly,cute puppies and kitties are not my type.
-Religious cards.(Some foreigners may think Chinese people lack religious belief.I think it is because we prefer to regard religion as a term of culture than a belief.)

I really love learning foreign languages! It is a good way to get to know a new nation! Besides English(we begin to learn English from the third grade of primary school),I have learnt Russian,French and German in university.They are all much harder than English.I am only continuing studying Russian now because I don't have so much free time.Please write in Russian if you are a native speaker (and not in cursive please).

Watching movies is also my favourite thing to do when I am free.Recently I've seen a lot of Korean and Japanese films.Hollywood movies are also great but sometimes I will get bored with those scenes full of gunfight,car racing,abduction and rescue,etc.I also watch TV episodes at times but only ones that are definitely finished.I don't like waiting desperately for next season,not to mention it may be cancelled for low audience rating!Up till now I've seen Prison Break,Lost,24 Hours,House M.D. and first two seasons of American Horror Story.
