As a graphic designer, I can always use my creativity. Otherwise I go crazy with all the ideas in my head! haha .... In my own company 'LeuksteKaartjes.nl by xMar' I can use all my creativity. Cards from all over the world I find very fun and inspiring! And love to be inspired by them in my own designs.
My motto is: Love of beauty

In 2016 I got married to Maurice. He has a girl Faye ('13) with beautiful long Ginger hair and blue eyes and together we have a beautiful boy Sam ('16) with Ginger curly hair and blue eyes, to fall in love with! He is just very naughty! Together with our old Ginger cat Tom we live in a small village near Medemblik, Hoorn and Enkhuizen. These are very beautiful old towns from the VOC era.

I love beautiful pictures, paintings, small special and crazy objects and works of art, especially of unknown people, beautifully designed books or other beautiful designs. Cookbooks with beautiful pictures and drawings are my favorite, I love to cook and get inspired by different cuisines and countries.

Thanks to this fantastic hobby of my dear niece Anneke, I also started Postcrossing. And I love it! Now my best friend Janneke has also heard about this super fun hobby and she is now also taking up Postcrossen :-). Nice right!

Which postcards do I like? Beautiful design cards, graphic prints, crazy paintings, objects or images with lots of color or just black and white. Fun, crazy or special photos of peculiar things, maybe one with a story, close-ups or old photos. As long as it's not "normal." Go crazy! Live it up!

A little story? I like to read something funny about you or a fun fact about the area where you live. Maybe a secret (I won't give it away to anyone :-), or something fun you want to share. I can also appreciate a recipe from your region or country.

Remember to note date of mailing, your name and city name on the card. I always like to keep that :-)
I prefer cards without envelopes and with different weird postmarks :-).
