Hi there!

My name is Maike. I live in a little village called Hilversum, somewhere near the middle of the Netherlands and within a half hour drive of Utrecht.
Right now I am a youth nurse, for children from 0 to 4. Maybe one day I want to be a pedeatric nurse, because i love to help the little ones.
I have 4 sisters, whom I love very much!

My biggest dream is to travel around the world helping people, building things, make people smile and help the sick ones.
I've already been to Sierra Leone, Ghana and Malawi but I want to go to lots of different places!

My hobbies are; reading, singing (everywhere, eventhough I am sure I don't sound that good), korfbal (I don't know if you know this game but it's basketball but without dribbling), travelling (and doing voluntary work there) and making scrapbooks of all the things in my live.
I also enjoy photography and I love quoting lyrics for songs, books and movies :) So if you don't know what to write.. I loooooovvveee new quotes. Oh, and my taste in music is very wide. If you have any tips or recommendatioion for nice music, do take the opportunity to write about it :)
