Im Rachel,from a small city in China. And I'm now learning electrical engineering and computer science in Taipei, Taiwan. About.my charater..is kind of straightforward.like boys？maybe that is why most of my best friends r boys.

Alain de Botton is the author i love mostly who always gives me much courage to face the challenging life.I recently read The Little World of Liz Climo and love the book very much.I prefer anything about philosophy and books with great critical thinkings.And im also a little fan of Oscar Wilde.(His fairy tale is so amazing.not only for children.The little Prince is nice as well.)For me,the standard of a good book is if I cannot control myself to read it again and again..

Badminton
I love this sport but i havent played it very well yet.i have a badminton class every week.that means im making progress and the ability would be better and better!!!!

and..as for my hometown Fuzhou.unlike Beijing and Shanghai(the fast pace of urban life.I mean..that is cool and people earn much more money there..of course at the same time with high pressure.)but i just prefer escaping from the hustle and bustle.so my city is the best for me. being with parents and friends,fresh air and blue sky(you know.it is rare in China),everyday seems common but is also full of surprise.

the country\city i have been:Britain,Singapore,Vietnam,Hong Kong,Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Hainan(mom worked there) and so on...

and theres something I wanna explain for those Foreigners who know little about China.first,not everyone.or theres few chinese can play kong fu like Bruce Lee in the movie.we dont learn that when we r kids. secend,we dont eat everything.it is true that Chinese eat more organs and animals than people in other countries,but.......u dont need to worry if we would eat ur pets if u go travelling here. Third,the reason girls likes whitening and wearing western—style clothes is not that we want ourselves to be like Caucasians...(Its just the same as a friend from the US used to tell me that they prefer tan skin,which looks healthy)

Just write everything u like to me with heart.such as ur city,little secrets,living routine , or happy things happened recently...anything.please do NOT write greetings only.Thats pretty boring.....Im longing for the feeling of chatting with a close friend.cant wait to hear from you!
