Dear sender,

I am from Austria, a small country in Central Europe between Germany and Italy. I live in Vienna, which is the capital and has around 1.700.000 inhabitants. What I especially like about Austria is the impressing landscape combined with monumental sights.

I am 27 years old and my hobbies are travelling, taking walks, reading, knitting, making nature photography and doing sports.

My dream is to explore the world! As I'm sure I will be unable to travel to all the beautiful places around the world, I registered to postcrossing to see as many beautiful places around the world through postcards.

Every card is welcome which you find nice to look at, which gives me an impression of the place where you life and which is typical for your country (it doesn't have to be famous, it just should be typical for your country in your eyes)!

If you need some ideas, you can look on this list or to my favourites:
- a panorama of characteristic landscape/natural scenery/the city you live
- pictures of sights of the place you live
- persons in traditional clothes
- flowers or animals which are typical for the place you live (no cats, dogs, horses...as long as they are not especially typical for your country)
- something which shows daily life (trains, buses, work, food, streets, signs, city maps, underground line maps, street views,...)
- Just in case you live in a country by the sea, I would also be interested in a picture of the harbour of your city, a typical ship recorded in your country, a sunrise/sunset on the beach, an old sailboat or anything else typical of your country which is connected with the harbour or the sea.
- My favourite animals are penguins...so just in case there are penguins living in your contry - I LOVE THEM! :-)
