Hi! My name is Eliza and I live in Groningen, a city in the northern part of The Netherlands.
I'm a professional artist/illustrator, I mainly draw and paint landscapes.
My hobbies are reading (for example: travel books, historical fiction), singing in a folkband and dancing the Argentinian Tango.
Music is an essential part of my life. I love listening (and singing and dancing to) lots of different styles: world music, classical music, jazz and pop, whatever fits my mood at a particular time.

I like cards with pictures of landscapes, owls (my favourite birds), space photography (moon, planets, solar systems), mythical creatures, faerie, butterflies, gardens, stained glass windows, city views, bookillustrations, fairytales, folklore and art.
But you can also send me a card with a subject you like, and tell me about it.
Or you can tell me about your favourite music, maybe there are hidden treasures for me to discover!
I have started a (very small) vegetable garden in the spring, and am very interested in suggestions and tips from other gardeners.
If you have favourite recipes to share, they are very welcome!

I prefer regular size postcards with adress, written text and stamp on the back. This is what I believe to be the archetypal and most 'romantic' form of postcard. Please write the date on the card.

It's nice to be surprised and inspired by people from all over the world!
