I signed up for postcrossing because I really like the feeling of surprise when you open the mailbox and there is something in it beyond invoices and commercials of the next shiny thing which promises you happiness for ever after in this consumer's world. I also really like writing and sending mail since the very first I time I send a letter from the children vacation camp to my little grandmother.

I’m working for an environmental organization and love nature - and books. I enjoy walking on Irelands green grass, love the wind in my open hair while looking at the waves of the East Sea in Germany and last year I was absolutely stunned of all the stars in the Bolivian desert sky – although I like a lot of things about living in Berlin it is a shame you never see the Milky Way from here.

If you want some help to choose a postcard for me, I love:
- everything about water
- everything about forests
- everythin with a book on it
- Street art
- abandoned houses, cars, even towns where nature finds its way back;
- and at last: I’m more into single shot postcards than into multi-views ;-)

I'm doing a little private research: So, I would really appreciate it, if you tell me your favorite place to read a book or write :-)
