Hi, thank you for reading my profile.

I live with my husband, two sons (7 and 10) and two rescued Spanish street dogs in the Netherlands.

I have been very ill in the last year - spent 13 weeks in hospital with acute necrotising pancreatitis and this caused my kidneys to fail. I am now on dialysis three times a week and have started screening for a kidney transplant. I have a good feeling about 2023 and feel positive that I will receive a kidney and feel better again.

In my spare time I love playing boardgames and participating in quizzes. I have lived in the UK, Belgium, Spain and Russia but have been happily living in the Netherlands for 16 years now.

As for postcards I'd love to receive cards with the following images / themes:

- foxes and dogs (I like scruffy looking dogs)
- kidney related cards (if they even exist!)
- wolves and dogs
- blackbirds, magpies, ravens and crows
- the seasons
- colourful cards
- fairytales
- (vegetarian) food
- self made cards (especially cross-stitch, paint, photography)
- drawings & illustrations from your country

I am not really keen on tourist cards, multiviews, etc.
