About weldenforest...

Hello, world

I'm a Portuguese expat, currently living the Dutch life and studying Psychology at the VU - Amsterdam. I'm all about spontaneous writing, aleatory inspiring quotes, day-to-day life meaningless happenings and the beauty of receiving REAL mail - nothing smells better than paper.

I'd really appreciate if you'd write some words in your native language, translated to English. :) If you're having difficulty on deciding what to write, here are some ideas:
- Write 5 curious facts about the place where the card is from;
- Tell me how you met or fell in love with your lover;
- Write your favorite quote/song lyrics;
- Tell me what's your favorite thing to do and why;
- Describe a person sitting close to you;
- Tell me WHO would you want to meet if you could meet anyone (dead, alive, fictional... it's up to you) and why;
- Tell me what's your favorite place in the world and why;
- If you're good at it (or even if you're not), draw a picture of your surroundings while writing the postcard;
- Write down the question you wish the most to get an answer to. :)

I would mostly enjoy receiving postcards with mountain landscapes, lakes, landmarks, picturesque countrysides, famous paintings, remarkable people, old publicity, quotes, doors, gates, letters, typewriters, flowers, abstract and unusual stuff or even little details from your country or city, so that I would get to know something about it; vintage postcards, love them, and nautical postcards (boats, docks, the sea, beaches, anchors, anything...) are also some of my favorites. I don't like multiview that much, but I'll gladly received anything you're willing to send! Still, if possible, I'd really like the cards stamped, without an envelope.

Stamp-a-lot and have fun,
Catarina
