Hello! I'm Adina and I'm from Constanta, a beautiful city located on The Black Sea Coast. Currently, I am studying Chemical Engineering in Timisoara, a city situated in the western part of Romania, 800km far from my hometown. I really miss the wavy sea, but I am getting used to enjoy my college life.

Postcrossing is my favourite hobby, I like the feeling that I get when I open my mailbox and see the postcards pouring out of it. My favourite collection is with Marilyn Monroe and I'm constantly raising the number of postcards I have with her. In my spare time, I like to watch movies-I prefer many genres, from films from the Golden Age of Hollywood to ”Lord of The Rings” or ”Harry Potter”. I am keen on the humor of ”Dr House”, and the misterious Mafia world in ”The Sopranos”, and as I told I am into fantasy genre, I enjoy also ”The Game of Thrones”. Regarding music, I'm very picky with what I listen to- I prefer rock bands as Bon Jovi or Guns'n'Roses but I enjoy pop artists like Madonna, Kylie Minogue or Michael Jackson and I also listen to other genres.

Two of my friends here in Timisoara are also postcrossers. I introduced postcrossing to them, so I'm the oldest one. I enjoy our long chats about postcards and stamps and I think it's good to have somebody to talk with about the things that you like most, especially postcrossing. There's also sort of a positive competition, but I find it challenging.

I'm currently reading: A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin.

My favourite song at the moment is: Beatrice Cristea - Ninsoarea de adio

Last movie I've watched: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
