Hello, world! Greetings from Belarus!

I'm Victoria, I'm 17 and I'm so happy to join postcrossing. It is great pleasure for me to receive and send postcards to people from all over the world. :)

My home country is Belarus. It is a very beautiful, green and picturesque place, that is located right in the centre of Europe. I'm fond of travelling and dream to work in tourism, but Belarus is in my heart forever. It is a lovely place for me and I'm proud of it. :)

Now I live in a big village Zhdanovichi in 11 km from Minsk and study in Lyceum of The Belarussian State University. My specialization is philology. I study languages and literature at a high level. In 2013 I'm finishing grade 11 and will enter the university. I hope, I will make a right choice. :)

I'm interested in music, reading, sport and travelling. I like modern and Silver Age poetry, russian, english and german literature. I enjoy rock-music and films of all genres. If you can recommend me a good book, film or song, please, do it! Also it will be wonderful if you write your favorite word or phrase in your language. I will be grateful to you! :)

If you still don't know what to write on the postcard, you can tell me something interesting about your life, your friends or family, or how you spent your day yesterday. I enjoy reading stories about travelling so much. If you were in a beautiful, unusual and very interesting place or visit the city of your dream, write me about it. Thanks! :)
